The Story So Far
Claremont has always been a place desired
for its location and landscape.
Claremont and its surrounds has an abundant
history, rich in culture and character. With its
proximity to the city, the Swan River and the
coastline, Claremont continues to serve as a
destination in its own right.
Public and commercial buildings as well as private Claremont on the Park will see the historic oval
residences retain a rich heritage enhanced by
mature, well established trees and gardens.
Claremont Oval opened in 1905 as the home of the
Claremont Football Club and today continues to be
the stomping ground of the Claremont Tigers.
A familiar and defining feature of Claremont’s
identity, Claremont on the Park will become the
heart of the Claremont on the Park development.
Claremont Football Club is currently redeveloping
a new grandstand on the western boundary,
incorporating clubrooms, a bar and a state of the
art public gym, creating new business opportunities
and importantly local amenity for the community.
being utilised as a community amenity, providing
accessible public open space for all to enjoy. With
interconnected areas and walkways, promoting foot
and cycle traffic between neighbouring facilities
and Claremont Quarter, Claremont on the Park will
provide a new way to live.
